I worked in Restorative Nursing at the Virginia Convalescent Center and since 2006 have worked at the Iron Range Rehab Center and Inpatient Therapy Services at VRMC. I worked as a Therapy Aide at the Rehab Center from 1988 to 1990 and then went back to school, graduating from Duluth Technical College in 1992 as a physical therapist assistant. I received my AAS degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Lake Superior College in 1997 and have been working as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at the Iron Range Rehab Center since then. My focus of practice has been in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehab care, acute care, home health care, all working with diverse age groups from geriatrics to pediatrics. I enjoy the aspect of my job in watching patients progress towards goals and return to an improved functional status.
